Josie Dickerson: Hi everybody. I’m having a great time here in Symphony City with my twin brother, Josiah, and my friends from Libertyville. What an amazing place! I’ve learned a lot about God but also a lot about myself from the scripture songs and good advice shared by the new friends I’ve met. I used to be so proud about being the oldest child in our family (by five minutes). But I’m beginning to see that the most important thing is to be humble and make others feel special; most of all Josiah. I also want to make sure I’m living for God by serving others. I’m ready to help at home, in my church, and in my community as God answers my prayers to be a useful servant. I’m so glad we’ve been able to experience this awesome parade together! I’m looking forward to our next visit.

Josiah Dickerson: I’m not sure that I’ve ever been to a better place than Symphony City, and we got to be at their Founder’s Day Parade! I’m so glad that Anthony wanted to bring us to meet his really cool friends so we could hear all the great music and learn from the parables they sang about. I know you won’t believe it, but I’m glad that my sister Josie was with us too. Even though we don’t always seem to get along so well, we really do like to do things together. We both picked up some good lessons on our visit. Josie learned how to be just a little bit more humble, and I learned that I really have a great sister that I wouldn’t want to be without. Now I need to go home and put some of these lessons into practice… I guess I’ll start by helping Mom with the baby.

Big Mic: Ladies and Gentleman, it was a great honor for me to be the announcer at the concert on the-bandstand stage in Clef Park for our Founder’s Day celebration. It was such a small part, especially compared with all the great talent in the parade and at the Finale Concert. But really everything done for the Lord with the right heart becomes great in his hands. I look forward to seeing you at the next concert!

Eddie Fiddle: Howdy y’all! I sure am glad that you could come to Symphony City for our Founder’s Day Parade. If anybody deserves to have a shindig in his honor, it’s Reverend D.C. I know Granddaddy would be filled with joy to see this day and to know his grandson was a part of the festivities. I miss Granddaddy every single day, and it makes me feel right close to him to honor his friend and the founding of our city in this way. I hope you all are enjoying our songs from the parables. Reverend D.C. and Granddaddy would be singin’ right along to all these special tunes. Well, I’m fixin’ to head on out for a gig way down yonder, and I’ll catch you sometime back here real soon. Shaker Shake: Hello, folks! It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me. I’ve been busy running my coin shop and serving at my church. When I was asked to be a part of the Founder’s Day Parade, I was so excited I couldn’t help but shake! It was great to be able to share “The Parable of the Talents” and help everyone understand how important it is to serve God with the gifts and talents he has given each of us. I loved being in the finale too, and I am looking forward to even more ways that I can shine my light for Jesus.
Hannah Tuck (speaking voice & soloist)
Hannah Harmonica: I am so happy that I got to sing with Miss Tara and Bekah Bell on our song that encourages us to share our faith with others. It was so much fun to be a part of the parade! I love to sing, so I want to be in Miss Tara’s kids’ choir forever, well at least until I’m all grown up and can sing in the big choir at church. I’m glad you got to join us too, and I hope you’ll come back again very soon. Bye bye!
